Revelation Pharma Completes Sixteenth Acquisition – Rock Valley Compounding Pharmacy

Revelation Pharma Completes Sixteenth Acquisition – Adding Rock Valley Compounding Pharmacy to the Revelation Pharma Network

TAMPA, Fla., – Osceola Capital (“Osceola”), a lower middle-market private equity firm, announced today the sixteenth addition to the Revelation Pharma Corporation (“Revelation”) platform. Revelation purchased Rock Valley Compounding Pharmacy located in Rockford, Illinois. Rock Valley takes immense pride in offering high-quality, specialized treatments while collaborating closely with prescribing physicians to guarantee the best possible health outcomes for each patient.

The acquisition of Rock Valley Compounding Pharmacy represents Revelation’s ongoing goal to establish a nationwide network of 503A and 503B compounding pharmacies. Compounding pharmacies create high-quality, personalized prescriptions to address a particular therapeutic need, frequently improving the quality of life for patients.

“I’m very happy that Rock Valley Compounding will join Revelation’s vast network of compounding pharmacies! Rock Valley gives priority to meeting the health care needs of patients.  Now with collaborating with some of the greatest and brightest, joining Revelation gives us a chance to further support both health care providers and their patients by dispensing unique compounded therapies,” said Jonathan Lehan, PharmD, owner of Rock Valley Compounding Pharmacy.

The corporate team for Revelation is led by pharmacist and CEO Shawn Hodges, the former CEO and President of Innovation Compounding. Jake Beckel and Richard Case, the founders of Revelation, who also reside on the board of directors, will solely focus on helping new companies seeking to join Revelation. Mitchell Bell PharmD., is the Senior Vice President of 503A Pharmacies, Will Skinner is the Chief Financial Officer who has specialized in start-ups, and investment companies. Jon Pritchett PharmD., former Pharmacy Program Director at Accreditation Commission for Health Care (ACHC), now serves as the Vice President of Quality Assurance and Regulatory Affairs.

Despite changes in regulatory requirements and practice standards, as well as an increased cost of doing business, the market need for pharmacy compounding continues to grow.  Revelation is a buy-and-build company, offering owners a rewarding exit strategy but allow their pharmacy to remain part of the local healthcare community.
